Helpfulness of Career Key Test
Middle school, high school, and college students taking the CK have consistently given it positive ratings (e.g., Jones, 1993), and in studies where the CK has been compared with other instruments like the SDS, the CK ratings have been at least equal to the comparison instrument. Students taking the CK report that they learn things about themselves, the results are clear, it is a good use of their time, and that they would recommend it to a friend. No studies have been done with adults, but many using the web-based version have emailed the author with enthusiastic praise for it.
